The Syrian government has refused to transport the displaced civilians which are from the people of Deir Ezzor city from Al-Qamishli Airport to Damascus airport and they got out of Deir Ezzor governorate which is under the domination of the Islamic state organization.
The reporter of the justice for life in Deir Ezzor observatory said that the Syrian government has justified the rejection on the pretext that many of their men have long beards and more than a wife. and they might have sleeper cells from the Islamic state organization between them.
The reporter of the observatory in Al-Qamishli city has pointed out that a lot of people from Deir Ezzor governorate are in Al-Hawl camp which is under the domination of the people’s protection units (YPG) and the supervision of the UN high commissioners for refugees (UNHCR).
The reporter added that the UNHCR tried to give trophic aids to the migrants 10 days ago but when the aids arrived they refused to take them confirming that they didn’t come to Al-Qamishli city to stay in Al-Hawl camp and they demanded to be allowed to travel out of Al-Qamishli city.
The reporter continued that the UN high commissioner for refugees (UNHCR) brought 12 buses to transport the 750 migrants which are women,kids and men of all ages to the airport of Al-Qamishli so they being moved to damascus gradually but the Syrian government refused that under the pretext that the Islamic state might have cells between those civilians.
The reporter pointed out that the migrants stayed in the airport for two days and then they have been returned to Al-Hawl camp after the people’s protection units (YPG) took their identities. The next day the UNHCR tried to get into the camp to meet the migrants needs but the migrants refused that demanding to let them go to Damascus. Whereas the FlyDamas airline gave them 150 tickets to Damascus and that to calm the migrants down so they being moved gradually in 3 batches.
Al-Hawl camp doesn’t have any medical supplies and it lacks the basic services besides that the (YPG) prevent the civilians from getting out of the camp without a Guarantor from the local people.
The displaced people arrive to Al-Hawl camp by following illegal roads and some of them have to walk for three days and others have to go to Iraq and from Iraq to the camp.
