Drones targeting the besieged neighborhoods :
A drone belongs to the Islamic state targeted the besieged neighborhood of Al-Qosour on the date of 15 August 2017 at 10 pm with two Mortar shells, moreover the Islamic state group targeted the besieged neighborhoods with explosive bullets, without any civilian casualties reported.
In the same regard, the regime forces carried out a counteroffensive against the Islamic state on the frontline of graveyards and that after the Islamic state group achieved advances on certain fronts.

The promises of the regime forces to break the siege of Deir Ezzor led to notable decrease in the prices of foodstuff, some traders offered discounts for the first time since the beginning of the blockade, on the other hand… the Red Crescent of Deir Ezzor finished a distribution cycle which contained: Sugar 5 Kg,lentil 7 Kg and 1 Kg of Salt, the started to distribute 6 Liters of the vegetable oil on 16th August in Addition to one Blanket to each family and that In collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
