Nineteen air strikes that were launched by government-likely warplanes resulted in twenty one killed on Monday in different areas in Deir Ezzor
The bombardment targeted Al Shhail, Al Ishara, Al Qurayya, Buqrus Foqani towns along with the villages of Al Mraia and the Al Jafra in the eastern countryside. Moreover, the city neighborhoods of Ganamat, Al Ardhi, Al Jbaila, Al Takaya, and Al Haweeqa along with the outskirts of Deir Ezzor military airport.
JFL observatory documented, until the date of issuing this statement, twenty one death cases including two women and one child as follows:
15 victims in Al Ishara
3 victims in Al Shhail including one woman
1 child in Buqrus Foqani
1 woman in Al Takay neighborhood of Deir Ezzor city
1 victim in Al Jbaila neighborhood
The observatory condemns in the strongest terms the targeting of civilians and call upon the international community to exert pressure on all parties to stop shelling the areas that are populated by civilians.
It also condemns the neglecting of the international community for the crimes that are taking place in Deir Ezzor and justifying them that “Islamic State” organization dominates most of the governorate.
