The aerial bombardment on Deir Ezzor province caused death and injury of hundreds of civilians along with destroying shops and damaging infrastructures as it targeted residential areas and river crossing points. It also targeted the boats that are used by civilians to cross the river.

This aerial bombardment resulted in displacement of more than 150,000 civilians towards the areas that are held Syria Democratic Forces in Deir Ezzor and al Hasaka along with the armed opposition in Aleppo and Idleb.

The report depended on eighteen testimonies to cover the shelling on different areas of Deir Ezzor province since July 1st and November 30th 2017. The report covers the attacks of the Syrian government, Russian air forces, and US-led Coalition. The report does not cover the locations that are likely military due to the difficult access to have details on those targeted locations.
